Jake Arluck Consulting LLC, doing business as Care Assembly ("Care Assembly," "we," "us"), is a New York consulting business focused on tax-advantaged, employer-supported child care. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, sign up through our ads or forms, or communicate with our business, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you sign up through one of our ads or forms (including Instagram, Facebook, and ChatGPT ads) or contact us by email, phone, text, Facebook Messenger or Instagram, we may collect information you give us directly:
When you visit our website, we may also collect limited technical and advertising-measurement information, including the page and referring page, date and time, campaign parameters, privacy-preserving ad identifiers, a first-party measurement cookie, approximate country, city, and ZIP code, IP address, and browser or device information.
For conversion measurement, we may turn your normalized email address into a one-way SHA-256 hash before sending it to an advertising measurement provider. We do not send that provider your raw email address.
Our contact forms do not ask for information about individual children. Our optional calculators use financial and household assumptions, such as income, care expenses, and the number of eligible dependents. Please do not enter names or other identifying details about children.
When you interact with a calculator, we save the scenario you enter, its calculated results, the calculator used, the calendar day, and approximate active time rounded down to five-second intervals. Family scenarios may include income, care expenses, filing status and dependent counts. Entries may be hypothetical; we do not treat them as verified facts about you.
We use these records to understand calculator use and improve the tools. The scenario records do not include IP addresses, visitor or session identifiers, browser or device information, inferred location, campaign parameters, or precise timestamps. A state or location you select as a calculation assumption remains part of that scenario. We do not link these records to contact forms, advertising identifiers, other scenarios or later visits, and we do not attempt to identify the people behind them.
No calculator logging checkbox is required. This logging does not create cookies or persistent browser identifiers, and it remains disabled when your browser sends Global Privacy Control. If you previously declined the former optional logging, we continue to honor that choice for its original 30-day lifetime. We do not reconstruct or backfill earlier activity.
Scenario records are stored privately with our website host, Netlify, with access limited to authorized site administrators. They are deleted on a daily schedule after approximately 30 days. Calculator entries and results are not sent to Google Analytics or advertising providers. Our host necessarily processes connection information to serve requests and protect the website; we do not copy that information into scenario records or use it to identify their users. Separate website and advertising measurement is described elsewhere in this policy.
If you choose to submit a contact form, we separately receive the information that form provides, which may include a calculator summary requested with your inquiry. Merely typing into a contact field does not add your name, email or message to scenario logs. Records collected under the earlier opt-in design retain their original approximately 30-day deletion schedule; we no longer add new records under that design.
We may access and process messages you send our business to route them internally and respond to you. Service providers may process them on our behalf. We do not sell your messages or share them for anyone else's marketing.

When you opt in to email updates, we use that permission to send the updates you requested. Sending a business message does not by itself subscribe you to marketing emails. You can withdraw that permission at any time (see "Your choices" below).
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our operations, and they process your information only on our behalf:

Our forms do not require cookies to work. When you arrive through a ChatGPT ad, OpenAI's measurement Pixel may store first-party __oppref and __obref cookies so an eventual request can be attributed to the ad. We use these identifiers for our own ad attribution and performance measurement. Our OpenAI measurement events are marked to opt out of future user-level personalization. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the form will still work, but attribution may be less accurate.
We keep your information for as long as you are on our list or as needed to answer your inquiry. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we remove it from our active list promptly, keeping only what we must to honor your request (for example, a record that you asked not to be contacted).
Calculator scenario records follow the separate approximately 30-day schedule described above. Business messages are kept as needed to respond and manage follow-ups, and can be deleted on request.
To request access to or deletion of information you have provided, email jake@careassembly.com. Include enough details to locate your inquiry or conversation. After verifying your request, we will remove the applicable information, retaining only what is needed to honor an opt-out or comply with law. Copies held by a messaging platform remain subject to that platform's own controls.
Use the “Advertising privacy” control on our website to allow or turn off Reddit measurement. It is off until you allow it, and remains off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Turning it off stops future Reddit measurement events from our website. Our forms and calculators work either way. If allowed, we retain a Reddit ad-click identifier in your browser for up to 28 days to connect a later request to the ad.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we work only with service providers that maintain their own security practices. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take care with the limited data we keep.
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the new version at this address.
