Privacy policy

Jake Arluck Consulting LLC, doing business as Care Assembly ("Care Assembly," "we," "us"), is a New York consulting business focused on tax-advantaged, employer-supported child care. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you contact us or sign up for information, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short because our data practices are simple.

Information we collect

When you sign up through one of our ads or forms (including Instagram, Facebook, and ChatGPT ads) or email us, we may collect information you give us directly:

Your name
Your email address
Anything else you choose to include, such as your employer or a message to us

When you visit our website, we may also collect limited technical and advertising-measurement information, including the page and referring page, date and time, campaign parameters, privacy-preserving ad identifiers, a first-party measurement cookie, approximate country, city, and ZIP code, IP address, and browser or device information.

For conversion measurement, we may turn your normalized email address into a one-way SHA-256 hash before sending it to an advertising measurement provider. We do not send that provider your raw email address.

We do not ask for sensitive information, and we do not collect information about your children through these forms.

How we use it

We use your information to:

Send you the materials you requested, such as our parent toolkit
Send occasional, related updates about employer-supported child care
Respond to your questions and, if you ask, arrange a conversation
Understand which ads and pages lead to requests, measure campaign performance, and improve our outreach

You gave us permission to email you when you signed up. You can withdraw that permission at any time (see "Your choices" below).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our operations, and they process your information only on our behalf:

Meta (Facebook and Instagram), when you submit one of our lead forms
OpenAI, to attribute and measure results from our ChatGPT ads using its website Pixel and Conversions API
Netlify, which hosts our website, processes website forms, and runs our server-side conversion measurement
MailerLite, which stores our email list and delivers our emails
Zapier, which passes new signups from our forms into our email tool

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies and our website

Our forms do not require cookies to work. When you arrive through a ChatGPT ad, OpenAI's measurement Pixel may store first-party __oppref and __obref cookies so an eventual request can be attributed to the ad. We use these identifiers for our own ad attribution and performance measurement. Our OpenAI measurement events are marked to opt out of future user-level personalization. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the form will still work, but attribution may be less accurate.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you are on our list or as needed to answer your inquiry. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we remove it from our active list promptly, keeping only what we must to honor your request (for example, a record that you asked not to be contacted).

Your choices

Unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
Access or delete your information by emailing us at the address below, and we will act on your request.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we work only with service providers that maintain their own security practices. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take care with the limited data we keep.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the new version at this address.
